Thanks for reading this; we hope that with the new changes the game will be more fun.
We want PixelCanvas to be an active page with continuous progress and for that we will continue to implement new features in the future that we will explain here.
For now the main changes are:
- We reverted the cooldown to the original one. Every pixel, regardless of if its virgin or not, will have a cooldown that starts at 1 minute and increases the farthest it goes from the center of the canvas. This way we expect the center to have more activity since the cooldown will be the lowest.
- We moved the center to (0, 10000). This way we expect to bring move the activity from saturated places to new places. We expect to change the center after some time in order to have boosts of creativity all over the canvas.
- We refactored the code, now it performs faster and we hope this also gives more quality to the game.
New changes that are about to come:
- A chat with a login system for pixelcanvas users to talk.
- An official community where people can post whatever they want, related to the canvas or not.
- A better bot detecting system.
